We’re looking for a Design Thinker who knows the value of excellent UX, can design the UI and is able to inspire Novo Nordisk to become more user centric.
By utilising your creative mind, passion for user-centric design and knowledge about the latest digital technologies you can help challenge the status quo and design digital solutions with the aim of solving complex business challenges and deliver value to the company and our +29.000.000 patients globally.
The job
In this position you will be on the front-line, gaining knowledge about the user’s needs, and helping to translate this into digital products fit for purpose. You will be working with sophisticated business challenges in Novo Nordisk’s key business areas and will be exposed to stakeholders across the organisation. Through those insights, you will be helping to ensure that the products developed make a difference to the 48.000+ Novo Nordisk employees and the IT systems they use, as well as being instrumental in iterating with a diverse user community from idea to MVP and beyond.
Overall, you will drive the process from early UX research to final design implementation taking full responsibility for all phases. In practise, this means that you will be conducting interviews, facilitating workshops, and analysing data to understand the business context and identify problems and opportunities for making a difference. It is an advantage if you are familiar with working agile and that you have good collaboration skills, as we often support with UX activities across agile teams in an Agile Release Train (ART).
As we are pioneering the digital transformation of Novo Nordisk, we expect you to challenge and inspire the organisation as well as take part in establishing a strong internal community to share knowledge and learnings.
Qualifications
You have a master’s degree in Digital Design, Business, IT or another relevant field or you have worked within this space for an extended period (3-5+ years) and have an impressive track record to show.

As a person you are:
• A strong communicator, comfortable with sketching and facilitating ideation sessions and workshops and you thrive working in a Scrum team in an agile setting.
• A team player, who excels in an environment with a high degree of empowerment. You can work independently and engage with colleagues and stakeholders and all levels of the organisation.
• Empathetic, patient, and can effectively engage with others – whether one-on-one or in a group.
• Passionate about agile ways of working and eager to deliver value with your unique skillset. It’s an advantage if you have experience from a large enterprise setup, working with internal on-boarding and adoption of new software.
Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
About the department
The Digital Accelerator is where we do things differently - a team of people who challenge the traditional ways of working and are “wired differently”. We are anchored in the Digital Incubator & Innovation unit in Global IT.
Our purpose is to a drive cultural change through partnering with the business to accelerate digital innovation. We aim to do this by providing passionate people, new ways of working, and the technical foundation to help solve Novo Nordisk business challenges. In order to add the most value, our people are 100% dedicated and co-located together with the business.
