Novo Nordisk’s Global Mobility Centre of Excellence (CoE) is looking for a senior global mobility specialist to support the strategic development of global mobility in Novo Nordisk and to provide strategic mobility partnering to stakeholders across the EMEA.
About the department
The Global Mobility CoE is part of the Total Rewards and Mobility CoE which is one of 4 CoE’s in the Global People and Organisation (Corporate HR). The Global Mobility CoE is responsible for providing strategic mobility partnering to the global organisation and for developing strategic mobility initiatives ensuring that current and future organizational mobility needs are supported by the global mobility framework. The department works closely with the Global Mobility Service function which delivers operational mobility support and services to the global organisation. The Global Mobility CoE consists of experienced senior mobility specialists each supporting stakeholders within in geographical area.
The Position
As our Senior Global Mobility Specialist you will partner with stakeholders within the EMEA region to support their strategic mobility needs and build up mobility capabilities. You will be responsible for transforming organizational mobility needs into strategic mobility projects and you will together with the Director of Global Mobility and other team members drive the development of the mobility strategy. Managing strategic mobility initiatives and ensuring these are conveyed in the region is a key delivery of the role.
Through partnering, guidance and training you will also ensure that the Global Mobility Service function has the right knowledge and tools to support the global organisation with high quality mobility services. You will be the key account manager for our global tax provider and be responsible for the development of their services and our global partnership. You will furthermore be the functions subject matter expert within the areas of global compliance, technology and data. Your role will be to ensure a continued development and professionalization of these areas in line with organizational needs and external best practice.
As the role will have both a regional and global scope it is possible to be based outside Denmark with daily office in one of our affiliates.
The position reports to the Director of Global Mobility. A strong cross functional collaboration with regional stakeholders at all levels, local P&O heads, HR business partner teams, Global HR Centers of Excellence, and Global P&O Services is a must. A strong partnering with external mobility vendors such as the global tax provider and the global relocation company is key to the success of the role and function.
Qualifications
You hold an academic degree in e.g. Business Administration, Economics, Business Law or similar and have at least 10 years of experience in working with employee mobility programs within the EMEA either as specialist or leading others within this specialty. Furthermore, we expect you to have experience in partnering with all organizational levels within strategic mobility and have a proven ability to transform diverse organizational needs into concrete mobility initiates.
Due to the global scope of the role, you ideally also have experience working in diverse environments: multinational companies, international teams and virtual teams.
Other relevant qualifications:
- Strong experience within global mobility compliance at a strategic level
- Experience with mobility strategy development
- Experience in leveraging and implementation best in class mobility technology solutions
- Experience in establishing, developing and utilizing global mobility data to deliver benefits to multiple stakeholder groups and corporate functions and processes
- Strong expertise in working with and managing an external tax provider in a global scale
- Project management skills
- Excellent oral and written English
