About the department
As our new Campaign & Content Lead, you will join the Employer Brand Activation & Onboarding team consisting of 6 dedicated and passionate employees. All from a range of professional backgrounds (HR, Communication, Marketing, IT & Data Science), we use our differences to create and develop innovative approaches and high-quality solutions to attract the best talents to Novo Nordisk.

Serving as a Centre of Excellence, our main objective is to position Novo Nordisk as a preferred employer and thus, help business areas across Novo Nordisk globally to find and attract critical and best-in-class talent. However, in an increasingly crowded job market, attracting the best people to the role can be a real challenge. That’s why we are on a quest to bring authenticity and real employee experience to the forefront of our company’s employer branding strategy. We are actively pursuing a switch from telling to exemplifying, in which we aim to bring employees on as co-creators in our communication to demonstrate the value of working for Novo Nordisk.

Because of this switch, we experience a growing need for creating more compelling content and delivering an increasing amount of targeted campaigns that truly set Novo Nordisk apart. This sometimes requires us to move fast, getting hands on and applying our employer branding skills sort of as an in-house agency. This dynamic enables us to stay on top of our game and remain a challenger when bringing in externals to support us – but also require each of us to both be strategic while often being professionally rooted in a certain discipline i.e. copywriting, SoMe management, data science etc. Scalability is a key challenge of ours, as the demand for our involvement increases, which is also fueling our urge to further professionalise our campaign capabilities.

Right now the team is buzzing, as we are about to revamp our employer brand life-changing careers and there has never been a more exciting time to join!

The position
Working very closely with the Head of Employer Brand Activation and the rest of the team (community manager, employer brand lead, campaign leads etc.), you will be responsible for the strategic content creation and channel planning of global talent marketing projects, ensuring that each campaign defines audience, messaging and media channels so that relevant and engaging content with high impact is created.

In this role, you will work with various stakeholders – in our headquarters, at agencies and in our global organisation – to plan and create the right content for global employer branding campaigns. Often you will write creative and content production briefs for agencies to develop compelling creative concepts and content. Other times you will have the opportunity to be more hands on when it comes to executing smaller campaigns or when we need to create content with a certain sense of urgency. Once the campaign content is ready, you will create omnichannel media and communication plans which define the right channels, content and journey to reach the desired target group. You will work with the different line of business units to turn business objectives into sound talent marketing KPIs together with the project owner.

In this role, you will have a lot of freedom to unleash the full campaign and content potential within employer branding while being part of a passionate and diverse team.

The job is based in Bagsværd north of Copenhagen in Denmark but will require occasional travel when creating global campaigns.

Qualifications
You are a strong project manager and have 3+ years of experience with strategic content creation and/or media planning and executing multi-market campaigns – either in-house or as a part of an advertising or communications agency. You have a flair for crafting compelling, persuasive copy in both long and short form and a strong eye for detail, grammar and typos. Excellent communication skills, as well as an impeccable command of the English language is required. In addition, editorial and/or copywriting experience and the ability to deliver compelling stories and messages that thrive on social media will be highly advantageous for this position.

You hold a bachelor’s degree – or higher – preferably within marketing, communications, journalism, advertising or similar.
