About the department
In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to market approval, as well as life cycle management. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions to authorities while making sure that the processes live up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. We work in global project teams, with a focus on delivering viable products that make a difference to patients and ultimately benefit society.

In Trial Operations, we are responsible for the planning, execution and finalisation of global clinical trial activities in phase 2-4. We are organised in global project teams, focusing on projects within diabetes, obesity or biopharmaceuticals. You will be part of a team of Clinical Project Managers, International Trial Managers and Clinical Trial Administrators.

We collaborate with external vendors, internal stakeholders and our colleagues in the Novo Nordisk affiliates worldwide. The workplace is our office buildings in Søborg, Denmark. Limited travel activity can be expected.

The position
As International Trial Manager, you will be responsible for timely planning, execution and finalisation of clinical trials in an ever-changing environment. You will be driving the progress of trial activities having a direct impact on the success of the clinical trials.

You will be managing trials, planning and conducting Monitor and Investigator meetings in collaboration with your colleagues and supervising, challenging and keeping track of the trial budget.

Through clear communication and teamwork you chair the International Study Group to ensure delivery of trial activities and oversee coordination of deliverables from relevant stakeholders as well as keep track of trial risk and mitigation plans.

Working as a Trial Manager at Novo Nordisk headquarters is a unique chance to join the Trial Operations community consisting of approximately 200 trial managers. This makes plenty of room for learning, sparring and developing both personally and professionally.

Qualifications
You hold a relevant degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Health Care or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in trial management or working with clinical trials.

You have project management experience and an ability to balance quality with a drive to meet ambitious deadlines and get things done. You work in a structured manner and have a proven track record of ensuring that trial activities progress within the given timelines and in accordance with the trial budget. It is expected that you are able to keep focus in busy periods with strict timelines and that you have a sense of urgency as you will be handling many tasks simultaneously.

As International Trial Manager you will be having multiple stakeholders hence cross-cultural awareness, team spirit and the ability to motivate others in a positive and challenging working climate are important assets. Good presentation, communication and IT and data process knowledge is expected.

Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
