International Rewards & Compensation Lead to NREP – Copenhagen
Newly established role in an unconventional, dynamic, and purpose-driven private equity real estate company. Focus on building and executing Rewards structures and principles that support and add value to NREP’s ambitious growth and expansion strategy. Opportunity to work both strategically and operationally with Rewards in a business that is open for modern and innovative solutions that match market trends.
When joining NREP’s HR organization, you will become part of an ambitious and engaged team of 16 people (and the number is growing), who are building processes and tools, while delivering Excellence at the same time. Concerning Rewards, basic structures and models are in place, especially for salary system and salary models. The ambition is not necessarily one uniform solution, but to have principles, standards, and models in place to make Rewards more transparent to the business.
You will report directly to the HR Director and will of course enjoy the needed flexibility to make your working conditions ideal. Supporting an international and expanding business, you will be exposed daily to your international colleagues across Europe, with some travelling expected.
Your job
As Rewards & Compensation Lead, you will own and drive NREP’s remuneration structures across business units and geographies and ensure mobility amongst people. Overall, your primary responsibilities include to ensure and continuously optimize remuneration models for all entities (incl. policies), based on benchmarks and optimal models and drive high profile remuneration cases for Senior Management. Additionally, and supported by HR Partners and HR Operations, you will drive yearly salary and incentive processes across NREP.
The role has an opportunity to make a true difference on Best Practice frameworks for renumeration and mobility packages when looking into the future needs and ongoing growth and expansion. It is expected that you will challenge and support NREP leaders in their attraction and retention of talents and inform them about the financial implications of various solutions.
Your profile and ambitions
As an ideal candidate, you take ownership, are enterprising and yet also very structured and systematic in your approach. Towards your stakeholders, you are a strong relation builder, who naturally build and develop relations, at all levels. Your approach to others is characterized by having integrity and an understanding for cultural differences and different contexts. In your work, you are pragmatic and flexible, while also being able to be firm and concise when needed, and your true ambition is to deliver solutions and frameworks that add value and do not obstruct business operations.
Your skills and experience
As the right candidate, you combine academic credentials on bachelor or master’s level with solid experience from building and maintaining reward structures. Through your work, you have gained a strong market-insight into various salary packages / models / levels and with an understanding of what drives human motivation. Preferably, some of your experience comes from a similar or related industry within investment banking, consulting, or real estate. Furthermore, it is a strong advantage with some experience from setting up mobility practices, and with an understanding of local legal / tax issues regarding mobility. You can communicate fluently in English, in writing and verbally.
