Do you have a background in clinical diagnostics and experience of working in a lab? Would you like to work with products that can have a real impact on peoples’ life?
We are currently looking for an Application Specialist to join our Nordic Clinical Diagnostics Division (CDD) Commercial team, the role is based in Denmark.
How will you make an impact?
In this role you will be part of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Clinical Diagnostics Division (CDD), which develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of multiple disease states including Sepsis, Thyroid disease and Cancer. With 2.000 employees worldwide, CDD is the global leader in Sepsis diagnostics. You will report directly into our Sales Manager for CDD in Sweden and spend most of your time at supporting customers, working together with our Nordic team.
You will be joining the commercial team of 35 in Northern Europe and report into the Nordic Sales Manager who is located in Uppsala.
What will you do?
• Support and problem solving for our customer
• Training of customers
• Reporting in CRM systems
• Add on sales
• Cooperation with sales and service
• Launch of new solutions and it updates to customers
• Translations of manuals and other documentation
• Manage internal project when needed
• Expert roll for systems and IT
• Some task in tech service/support
• Planning and follow up
• Regular meetings with customers
• Installation process management
How will you get here?
Education
• Bachelor exam in Natural Science/Medicine or equivalent
Experience
• Chemist or Laboratory Technician background and experience is preferred
• Good understanding of laboratory processes in a clinical laboratory
• Fluent in Danish as well as English
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Flexible and has the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
• Available to travel (50%-70%) within Denmark and (10%-20%) within the Nordic region
• Team-player
• Goal oriented
