Do you have a passion for both IT systems and HR processes, and are you ready to take on the operational responsibility for driving the global HR IT agenda? Can you spot opportunities for securing optimal utilization of our HR IT landscape and do you enjoy both discussing future HR IT requirements specifications and use-cases with our IT department as well as doing operational implementation and training internally in HR on optimized or new solutions? Then we have just the job for you.

To further strengthen our global HR delivery model, we are now adding a Specialist to our passionate and diverse team of HR professionals. You will take lead on all IT related matters within HR and be the system expert on HR systems functionality. The key purpose of your role will be to enable an efficient, robust and scalable IT based global HR service with high data quality and compliance. This includes identifying and driving improvements with potential for optimizing HR processes and business deliverables through use of standard workflows, automation and robotics. To succeed in this role, you will also be required to establish a close working relationship with all your HR colleagues in both Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Singapore and the U.S. as well as our IT and Finance departments.

Our HR department includes both HR Business Partnering, HR Development, HR Operations and Regional HR teams. In this role, you will be part of our HR Operations team, which includes 5 colleagues working within areas such as HR Master Data, Contracts, Compensation & Benefits, Mobility and HR Reporting.

Role and Responsibility
As HR Systems Specialist, you will be working on both strategic/tactical and operational level. You will be responsible for collecting and aligning HR priorities for the future development of HR systems and keeping on top of the market offerings on HR relevant systems and developments, as well as the operational day-to-day work with designing and implementing the solutions including training of HR system users. In this role as system change lead, it is therefore paramount that you are skilled in working with optimization and implementation of processes and systems on a quite detailed operational level.

It is a challenging role where you will need to master both local and international solutions. The ability to secure proper communication, stakeholder management and collaboration across departments and countries is a key element in establishing the right solutions and buy-in during implementation.

The tasks
Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of functionality in HR IT systems
  • Find ways to digitalize HR processes
  • Identify areas for optimization of ERP usage (automation / robotics)
  • Facilitate process optimization / process design
  • Convey IT functionality to the HR department / local super users
  • Drive and define the HR IT roadmap
  • Define requirements specifications towards IT
  • Be HR’s liaison to IT
  • Implementation of future HR systems together with IT and external partners where applicable
  • Stay up to date on developments in the HR IT systems market
  • Setup HR reporting / KPIs via our Business Analytics group

Limited travel activity can occur, but we are vivid users of virtual platforms for meetings.

Desired Skills & Experience
With the complexity in both our business and system landscape, you need to be experienced in working with HR systems and have a solid understanding of and experience with process design. We prefer that you have an educational background at Bachelor level or higher, expectedly within IT, HR or Finance, but more importantly, you have a proven track record on successfully optimizing systems and processes across an international organization.

Your approach to working with HR IT systems and processes is pragmatic, structured and you get things done. You can also balance your efforts between analytical work and more hands-on work in a manner that secures continuous progress.

In addition to this, we expect you to:

  • Be a skilled relationship builder with keen stakeholder management skills in a complex, international landscape – e.g. you know who, when and how to involve and “lead” key contributors
  • Have high personal drive and a natural curiosity coupled with a fact-based approach
  • A strong can-do attitude
  • Highly developed communication skills (written and spoken English)

You bring positive energy and passion to our team and the organization and you love it when we succeed together as a team. You thrive with complexity and you work with a high degree of integrity and professionalism. Finally, you are well-organized, always thinking one step ahead with a focus on constantly improving.
