Payroll & HR Assistant (Part time)


Are you motivated by working with payroll and other HR administrative tasks? Are you used to working with administrative IT systems? And are you a structured and service minded person? Then you might be our new part time Payroll & HR Assistant.

Join the best HR team in town

In your new role as Payroll & HR Assistant you will be part of Demant’s HR Core Deliveries team. You can look forward to primarily supporting our payroll administration for the Danish employees. However, you will also be helping with an array of other tasks within HR administration.

The team is part of Demant’s HR function at the headquarter in Smørum, where we are around 40 colleagues who support Demant’s brands and work closely together with a global network of HR professionals in Demant entities around the world.

Administration and service is key

Not two days are the same in the Core Deliveries team! Working closely with our Senior HR and Payroll Consultant, this means that you will be part in most of our payroll activities in collaboration with our external payroll supplier.

Furthermore, we will also spice up your working days with some of the following tasks which will also provide you with a first-class view to what is going on in a large HR department in an international, market leading company:

  • Taking care of our salary mailbox, where our employees send salary input and asks all kind of questions regarding salary, maternity leave, holidays etc
  • Sending salary input to our external payroll supplier
  • Handling reimbursements
  • Handling and managing registration of long term absence
  • Different kind of quality checks
  • Ad hoc HR administrative tasks

It’s a part time job of 20 hours per week, but it’s an advantage if you can be flexible with varied hours from week to week pending on the tasks and deadlines.

Structured and service minded

In order to be a success in your new job, we hope that you have profound administrative experience within either payroll, HR or accounting. You are a star when it comes to administrative IT-systems and possess good excel-skills.

You thrive in a changing environment, and you are used to a workday, where there are sharp deadlines e.g. up to finalizing payroll input.

As you will be working closely with stakeholders from all areas of our business, you have good communication skills – both in Danish and English.
