About the department

You will be organisationally anchored in the Trial Solutions Department, belonging to Research & Development IT and located in Søborg, Denmark. Trial Solutions directly and indirectly supports the externally facing IT solutions enabling global conduct of clinical trials.

We are a dedicated team of 13 people, responsible for the implementation & development, support & maintenance and operation of global R&D IT applications. We are all working together as part of an ambitious team, including also strong collaboration with our sister departments in Denmark and in Bangalore, India. As well as you will have close collaboration with a wide range of internal stake holders spanning across the R&D organisation.

Our end-users and teams are situated all over the globe, and you will be working in a truly international environment with colleagues, collaboration partners and suppliers around the globe from many different cultures.

Our aim is to increase the value generation to our business stakeholders through the development, implementation and support of digital solutions. The central objective is to improve and automate our work processes and explore new ways of creating value.

The job

As an Advanced IT Developer, you will use your programming skills and understanding and insight in data to develop concrete solutions to support the business. The common denominators of the solutions we develop are that they are developed in close collaboration with our business stakeholders, they are the right tool for the job, and they generate business value.

You will be working as part of different projects with colleagues from IT and the business, e.g. other developers, data engineers, data scientists and subject matter experts in a cross-functional setting.

Qualifications

We are looking for an ambitious and proactive colleague who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally.

You have a master’s degree within the field of Computer Science, Software Development, Mathematics, Engineering or other related fields followed by 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing business applications.

You have demonstrated skills in tools like Vue.js, .net core (C#), ASP.NET Core Rest API, SQL, Python, Git, Azure DevOps, Docker, AWS Public Cloud IaaS, Azure PaaS/Serverless, and/or Azure AD integration. You are familiar with Cloud (incl. hybrid cloud) architecture in both designing and expanding solutions with an understanding of the web stack and the roles of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

Experience in designing enterprise solutions with high standards for security, logging, scalability and reliability is a plus. Preferably, you have practical knowledge of Agile software development and/ or experience from a regulated environment e.g. Medtech or Fintech and with working according to agile and Scrum.
