About the department

In Corporate Facilities, with 233 employees, we enable Novo Nordisk to focus on the core business by delivering simple and agile solutions for infrastructure, workplaces, utilities and facility services as well as a major building portfolio.

In Real Estate, Joint Operations & Finance we are 16 colleagues working closely together with other corporate functions, technical specialists, finance and senior stakeholders across all of Novo Nordisk. Focus is on managing our financials, real estate assets, strategically driving digitalisation and environmental sustainability efforts and the governance setup across sites in Denmark.

About the job

The position has been recently established to drive further professionalisation and qualification of our strong focus on transparent, efficient and compliant energy reporting in Novo Nordisk in Denmark.

Initially, you will take the lead and be responsible for performing an assessment and driving a development project to strategically enhance the reporting setup. This will be executed in collaboration with other areas and departments, including Corporate Tax, in Novo Nordisk, where you will need to foster strong collaboration and take the lead to ensure alignment of priorities across the company.

You will be responsible for energy-related reporting to authorities, improvement and maintenance of our current governance and reporting model and strategic and operational development of the IT system.

Your tasks include internally and externally energy reporting to institutions including, but not limited to, energy usage, CO2 and related taxes.

Qualifications

You have completed a relevant master’s degree and can demonstrate solid experience from a similar position. You are well acquainted with energy reporting requirements, energy excise duties and related tax rules in Denmark and have a strong interest in IT systems. You may have gained your insight through positions, in both the private and public sectors and are now capable of taking the responsibility for the design and structure of our energy reporting requirements and setup. You may have gained this experience working as a tax consultant or the like.

You understand how to structure transparent and to-the-point reporting. We expect that you keep on top of rules and regulations and continuously secure our compliance without missing out on the bigger picture.

You possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, strong analytical skills and well-founded documentation practices incl. strong data handling and excel competencies.

Further you have experience in project management and thrive in an ambitious environment where results are important. As a person you are known for your integrity and your strong interpersonal skills enabling you to create trust with your stakeholders. You have a high level of independence and drive and a strong sense of responsibility. You are pro-active and ensure compliance, timely delivery and high quality. You can handle complexity and know how to make things simple and understandable to people at all levels in the organisation.

You must be an excellent communicator in English and Danish.
