Do you want a significant position responsible for Service Desk and IT Support in a Europe North West regional office and Nordic affiliates?

About the Department

The IT Operations team EMEA North holds 27 IT professionals and is responsible for all IT Support in 35 sites in 27 countries. You will be member of a truly virtual & experienced team and your leader is situated in Belgium.

In Denmark the Novo Nordisk Orestad office host the Europe North West regional office and the Danish Affiliate. There are 220 plus colleagues dedicated to Changing Diabetes, Changing Obesity, Changing Possibilities in Haemophilia and to make a difference in the other chronic diseases we help treat. The IT Operations team supports the regional office as well as the Danish and the Norwegian affiliate – in total around 265 employees.

The position

As an IT Support Coordinator your responsibilities are twofold. Firstly, you will be responsible for coordinating all tasks of the local IT supporter (s) in the Nordic countries and ensure that all members of the team are organized and focused on the tasks and goals at hand. Also, you will follow up on all related IT support activities and KPI’s.

Secondly, you will be responsible for managing on-site IT support activities, manage service-desk and follow up on SLA’s. This role requires you to escalate issues which needs special attention and ensures quality according to Novo Nordisk requirements. Furthermore, you will be accountable for ensuring IT infrastructure service availability in the affiliates and actively participating in local sales cycle meetings. Ensuring new employee onboarding, user training on relevant tools and maintaining/supplying all local employees with the standard IT equipment is a vital part of this role. Finally, you will assist and collaborate in agile IT implementation and maintain cooperative relationship with different vendors.

Qualifications

To be qualified for this position you will have a minimum of 3 years of IT support related experience. You hold a University Degree in IT/Computer Science or a bachelor’s degree with relevant discipline.

You have a solid experience in IT technologies (Microsoft, IOS, HW,..) and in IT appropriate service management program (ITIL. certification). Also, you have a strong knowledge of ITSM tools like ServiceNow. You have a proven record in leading a local IT support and you have experience working in an international organisation which supports its customers 24/7. You have excellent command over both written and spoken English & Danish

As a person you are proactive, service-minded and solution-oriented. You are good at juggling all of the different responsibilities and tasks on your and the local IT supporter’s to-do list despite multiple customers, deadlines and priorities. You have good communication skills and are able to support stakeholders across all organisational levels. Furthermore, you are structured and like to follow common IT standards and procedures. Finally, you are team-player and like to share your knowledge.

You should expect 3-4 travel days per month.
