About the department

The department consists of approx. 50 employees divided into 2 teams. We support Biopharm's aseptic production facilities in Gentofte as well as implementing a new Isolator filling line in Gentofte. As Freeze-drying Engineer in the Future Fill project, you will be part of the project team consisting of approximately 20 employees and organizational be a part of Process Improvement team of 20 employees, which consist of process responsible, project managers and IT engineers. The department is characterized by high skilled colleagues, enthusiasm and a humorous and informal attitude. We have a high level of professionalism and emphasize cooperation and knowledge sharing.

The job

As Freeze-drying Engineer, you will be a part of our Future Fill project team responsible for qualifying and validating the freeze-drying processes including sub processes to our new Isolator filling line and when finalized, supporting the daily operation of the filling line.

You will be a part of the project team responsible for the qualifying activities covering, document writing, supervise, testing, reviewing and approving the IQ/OQ activities at the vendor and on-site when delivered to Novo Nordisk or the validation activities depending on your qualifications and when you can start.

In other words, you will play a key role in the project ensuring delivery of the new filling line and delivering a high performing filling line to the production in late 2021. Some of the qualifying activities will take place at the vendor in Germany, whereas some travelling until late 2020 must be expected.

Qualifications

You have a technical or natural science education e.g. mechanical-, chemical-, production engineer or similar. You have at least 3 years of professional experience preferred with freeze dryers or freeze-drying processes within the pharmaceutical industry.

You are expected to be very interested in technical installation or the freeze-drying processes and prefer to work in a dynamic environment and not be afraid of taking assignments outside your primary responsibility area. You manage to make quick decisions on the floor without compromising quality. To fit the team, you must be structured and ready to work systematically and with a hands-on approach. Experience with GMP and qualification or validation of freeze dryers will be preferred as well as good writing skills is a big advantage. We expect high level of both English and Danish oral and writing.
