Senior Chemist to support ambitious CIP project

Are you interested in supporting a continuous evolving GMP production in Novo Nordisk? Do you wish to participate in two major Cleaning validation projects on manual and automated cleaning (CIP) in a highly complex API production? Right now, we are looking for an experienced candidate with a strong quality mindset and GMP cleaning experience to join our team in Purification Plant in Kalundborg.

About the department
Purification Plant (PP) consist of 4 individual plants purifying insulin and GLP1. With more than 500 employees PP contains its own laboratory, maintenance department and business support. The vacancy is in the Cleaning Support Team, where you will join 13 dedicated and skillful supporters and a Manager. Because so many of us are chemists, specialising in cleaning processes, you will instantly have a large network to support your work. Together, we will find the right mentor for you, to ensure a smooth and exciting on-boarding process.

The job
Your will be part of the group securing cleaning changeover validation in our two major projects, ensuring reediness for production of new products. You will have a key role in ensuring that all validation activities are performed on time and in full compliance. In relation to the projects you will handle change requests, write SOP’s, protocols, reports and various documentations related to the Project. In this job, you will be in daily contact with the QA department, Product Support, the Production Team and Technical Team.

Right now, we have some major projects that require an extra mind. Most extensively, we are changing a production plant from single- to multi-purpose manufacturing, a process that involves finding the perfect product-change solutions for our Cleaing-In-Place (CIP) systems, and this is where we hope you will be a great match.

Qualifications
We imagine that you have solid theoretical background and an academic degree (at least MSc., Cand. Pharm, chemical engineer or the equivalent). You have experience within the field of cleaning validation in a pharmaceutical production and managing projects in a GMP environment. Experience with production of pharmaceuticals is preferred as well as knowledge of the LEAN principles.

On a personal level you have a positive attitude, you are committed and work in a systematic manner. You find challenges exciting and are able to maintain the overview despite being busy by various tasks and still complying with the requirements for manufacturing pharmaceuticals. You are flexible in novel situations in a continuously developing environment and you are fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English.
