Description
Would you like to develop catalytic technologies to fight air pollution where it matters the most?
We offer a position for a 12-month period covering parental leave within our Sustainables Research & Development department. We are 20 engineers and technicians working on development and optimization of heterogeneous catalysts and catalytic processes for the cleaning of exhaust gases from glass manufacturing, coke ovens, refineries and the chemical industry. Our department works closely with other departments such as catalyst production and business development.
Haldor Topsoe has several exciting and innovative solutions for catalytic removal of NOx by selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by total oxidation. You will join a project group working on enabling accelerating of core products and development of completely new catalysts and technologies that can meet present and future requirements for emission control in the industry.
Your daily tasks can include catalyst-testing, evaluation of test parameters, catalyst performance, and understanding underlying mechanisms. Depending on your previous experience, you would also run development projects and drive continuous improvements across a matrix organization. During your work, you will work in close cooperation with technicians and engineers within the group where openness and a collaborative drive for results and a good working atmosphere are highly valued.
