Therefore, we are looking for a passionate technical project manager that can help us leverage our leading position in this market to push the boundaries of what is possible regarding fuel efficiency solutions for the marine industry.

Technical Project Manager with passion about sustainability

As Technical Project Manager for Fuel Efficiency Coatings, you will be responsible for the development of new coatings and products for the marine industry. You will be working both in the lab; by planning, developing and testing different prototypes, and in the office; engaging with internal and external stakeholders to bring the project to a successful end. You will have very diverse tasks depending on the project and how it evolves.

Some of the key tasks you will have in this position include:

• Plan, design, execute and report projects to develop new coating prototypes that can solve our customers problems with focus on sustainability
• Plan and conduct laboratory experiments with small coating prototypes based on well-known as well as new chemistries, and analyse and interpret the results
• Develop and maintain technical expertise on advances and innovations in the field of fuel efficiency coatings
• Manage the technical aspects of development projects and be responsible for specific project deliverables
• Estimate the costs, resources and time required to conduct one or more research projects
• Support to factories regarding different tasks such as pilot productions, quality control issues and complaints

What we are looking for

For the position as Technical Project Manager for Fuel Efficiency Coatings we seek a candidate with the following competences:

• University degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or similar.
• Experience with Project Management and R&D would be an advantage
• Experience from the industry and specific knowledge of paint and coating technologies would be an advantage
• Experience with silicone chemistry would be an advantage
• Strong passion about sustainability and pushing boundaries
• Hand-on approach and willingness to work in the lab
• Pro-active attitude and eagerness to collaborate with other functions and relevant stakeholders to ensure progress of the projects
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
• Fluency in English both verbal and written

We strive everyday to develop the best solutions in the market for our customers in an efficient and sustainable manner, so you will have a key role in expanding our competences and capabilities within this field.
