Aim of the project
Environmental challenges have never been more critical or urgent than they are today. This is why several companies is working towards a goal of zero emissions across their whole business area. The pharma industry is not an exception.


So, in this project, the target is to help reduce emissions, electrical / water consumption, or other areas that support our customers in reaching their goal of zero emissions. This could be done by implementing automatic / modern equipment solution. Or perhaps optimization through our in-depth knowledge of production facilities, lean project execution and identify our key customer needs.

We solve around 1300 small and large projects a year, and we strive to ensure that your time at NNE is meaningful and developing – also for us, as we hope your thesis project can help us getting even closer to solving a core challenge of pharma engineering.

How you might spend your days

The project collaboration allows you to work with the following tasks depending on your field of study:

• Analyzing which areas that can be optimized in relation to sustainability.
  
  
• Analyzing the market for sustainable solutions.
  
  
• Contact with vendors.
  
  
• Visit to customer sites for inspection and supervision.
  
  
• Working with a team of instrumentation engineers based between our offices in Virum and Kalundborg.

This is a project for a BA/MA student who:

• Study engineering within data science, mechanical, electrical engineering, biotechnology or similar.
  
  
• Have solid knowledge and genuine interest in digital solutions and sustainability.
  
  
• Speak and write Danish and English.
