The job reports to the Corporate Vice President of Corporate Facilities.

Public affairs in a fast-paced environment
Novo Nordisk is growing. In Corporate Facilities we work with proactively creating win-win solutions with the external stakeholders in the areas we operate in. In the role, you will develop and manage key policy issues with a focus on infrastructure and utilities at Novo Nordisk in the Greater Copenhagen area. Your tasks will include proactively engaging with key external stakeholders and provide strategic analyses and communication in close collaboration with Novo Nordisk Global Public Affairs, communication experts and a range of colleagues from Corporate Facilities.

Examples of work tasks:

  • Drive strategic public affairs initiatives with a special focus on infrastructure and utilities, including meetings and dialogues with local authorities, officials, public utility companies, and other external stakeholders to ensure a successful outcome of strategic projects anchored in the Greater Copenhagen area.
  • Support, advise, brief, and develop communication and public affairs materials.
  • Be the point of entry for external communication to Corporate Facilities relative to local authorities and political stakeholders.

You will gain a broad insight into Novo Nordisk as well as the public affairs and communication processes associated with real estate and facility management. You will get the opportunity to enhance your professional and personal development and to engage with senior stakeholders inside and outside Novo Nordisk. The job has an impact across multiple disciplines, functions, units, external stakeholders, and geographies.

Job location: Novo Nordisk HQ in Bagsværd

About you
We are looking for a future colleague who holds a master’s degree in the field of political science, business administration, economics, law or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of experience within public affairs or strategic communication.

Further, we are looking for the following qualifications:

  • Excellent understanding of the Danish political system.
  • Great strategic, analytical skills.
  • Advanced public affairs and communication skills.
  • Strong networker and stakeholder management skills.
  • A structured, proactive, and result-oriented work style.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and Danish.

You thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy working with multiple stakeholders on multiple agendas and priorities. Experience with the pharmaceutical industries is advantageous, however, not a requirement.
