We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, creative and experienced Video Editor to take our ambitious content production to the next level. You’ll be using your talent in post production to create scroll-stopping, intriguing and bold digital creatives within a fast-growing scale-up, where content production is key to our growth.
You’ll be joining a group of passionate and talented team members in our Brand and Growth team, and will be working across teams with anything from our Video Journalist, Content Writer, Brand & Content Creative, Data Scientist, UX Designer, Developer and many more.
As our new Video Editor, we expect you to take full ownership of your area. You’re given the freedom to experiment with and develop our digital content across social media, website and external platforms while following our brand guidelines. We’re not afraid to try new things and we promise you’ll be part of a work environment where you’ll be challenged and learn fast while being given a large amount of responsibility to express your ideas and creative talent.

Your responsibilities:
- Edit video from our Video Journalists using footage, photos, interviews, music, graphics, and other important aspects of the project
- Iterate on edits based on data and feedback to make even stronger stories across channels
- Subtitle creation
- Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalised videos
- Take initiative on projects to deliver new and innovative solutions
- Adhere to brand guidelines in ways that still push creative boundaries
- You’ll report directly to the Head of Brand, and you’ll be an essential part of the Brand and Growth teams.
Skills and qualities:
As well as being super driven, having a desire to develop your skill set and grow with the fast pace of the company, our ideal Video Editor will have the following:
Qualities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines, producing work of a suitable style
- Ability to solve an array of challenges through visual design
- Must be able to mediate creative problems to arrive at the best solution
- Manage time effectively, ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully. Quality control is key.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
Skills:
- Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- Illustrator (is a really nice bonus)
- Photoshop (is also a nice bonus)
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of video production and editing
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-end digital video production skills
