Global Procurement Business Development & Value Chain Solutions Product & Supply Solutions
Product & Supply Solutions is part of the Business Development & Value Chain Solutions organisation within Vestas Global Procurement. Our main responsibility is to develop value chain capabilities and solutions into profitable business.

As part of the Product & Supply Solutions team, you will identify the most competitive value and supply chain solutions for existing and new products by applying a Pareto approach. In collaborations with our internal stakeholders you will ensure that Vestas remain industry leader within sustainable energy.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and mature decision making for make/buy opportunities including to prepare recommendation for senior management
  • Deliver make/buy analysis: e.g., prices, suppliers base, material, global footprint
  • Improve and drive the existing make/buy process and governance model – and ensure communication and implementation of these
  • Monitor implementation of make/buy decisions
  • Prepare ad hoc reporting materials
  • Mature and automatise processes
  • Engage and challenge key stakeholders with your analytical approach so that solutions add value to the business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree within Supply Chain or Finance combined with deep understanding of the value chain
  • Approximately 3-5 years of experience preferably from a similar role
  • Fluent in English verbally and written
  • Excellent qualifications in Data Analytics and associated IT tools
  • Proven track record improving supply and/or value chain

  • You have a strong business acumen and a structured approach
  • You have a strategic mind-set enabling you to overview your actions’ impact on the end-to-end value chain
  • You can communicate analyses to stakeholders in a clear way showing how the numbers bring value, and thus get buy-in into the derived action plans
  • You are proactive and able to drive your solutions into actual business results
  • You have the ability to manage stakeholders at different levels across the organisation
