Service Service Operations Supply Chain and Repair Global Warehouse Management

Service Supply Chain and Repair is a unit covering all the service operations around the globe. We are responsible for the supply to all the service sites, construction sites and after sales across the regions. We strive to have world-class supply chain operations in Vestas, making our department a great place to work.

The Global Warehouse department in Denmark and Germany, is responsible for procuring, storing, pick packing and shipping on time to our service technicians. Safety is our main driver; after, quality and delivery are our key measurables, making sure we meet the demand from our customers. You would join an international team, where we constantly strive for improvements.

We are looking to expand the team with an experienced profile who can drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Analyse current processes at the warehouse to define and execute improvement initiatives with the team
  • Implement Lean thinking and culture at our global warehouses
  • Increase productivity KPI and improve current layouts in the warehouse
  • Standardise processes and control
  • Implement 5S culture and routines at the warehouse
  • Coordination of the execution of the improvement projects (timing and reporting) with all the stakeholders involved
  • Make Kaizen events and team training

Qualifications
Ideally, you have an educational background in Business/Engineering with focus on Supply Chain Management and Logistics. More importantly, you have:

  • At least 3 years of experience from a warehouse environment working with Lean projects
  • Successfully been driving change management
  • Extensive experience with MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAP – Warehouse Management module
  • Good communication skills in English
