We seek a Logistics and Supply Chain analyst with a project manager skillset and a demonstrated ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis.
You contain a self-driven approach to take forward projects in new areas, and you have a natural desire to co-operate with internal and external stakeholders.

We offer
You will be part of the Trade Flow team in the Strategic Insights Section of Maersk Strategy that reports to the Chief Economist. You will work in an inter-disciplinary environment and you will be exposed to colleagues across the Maersk Group.
Most tasks will centre around the establishment of a solid market sizing/forecasting and data source evaluation for our broader Logistics and Supply Chain industries while some tasks will have a more structural element.
You will be exposed to work with stakeholders on all levels of a complex cross-functional organization.

Key responsibilities
The successful applicant will contribute across several core areas:
• Develop the Logistic and Supply Chain industry scoping for market sizing and forecasting;
• Cooperate and interact with internal stakeholders to establish a Logistics and Supply Chain data platform;
• Involvement in economic and business modelling and understanding of the market environment;
• Contribute to economic, trade, energy and financial markets, risk, and strategic analysis;
We are looking for
We look for someone with knowledge of data sources, methods for estimating and understanding logistics product markets on both the demand and supply side.
Ideally, you will apply your relevant experience from data driven or research-based work in an internationally orientated corporate within the broader logistics industry, logistics research companies or similar.
This is a challenging position that requires strength in several dimensions. Beyond sound technical capabilities, you are:
• Flexible, organized, focused, and hard-working;
• Analytical, detailed, and quality orientated;
• Able to synthesize complex issues into key elements and drivers;
• Able to triangulate and incorporate qualitative insights where hard data are sparse;
• A pro-active team player with a sense of urgency; and have a Business mindset.
Since we are an international team, fluency in written and spoken English is a must, while Danish is not required. You must be authorized to work in Denmark.
