For GPV Group in Vejle, Cruit Consult is searching for a dedicated and analytical Data Platform Manager responsible for designing, developing and implementing new data solutions. You will contribute to an ambitious digitalization journey reporting to the Senior Vice President.
Your responsibilities will include creating, driving, and ensuring continuous development of a uniform and modern data platform directly integrated with GPV's core applications, making it possible to access data for management reporting, self-service analysis, and more explorative efforts.
With a comprehensive skill set working with complex data sets, architechtures and models, you are able to develop and implement operationally stable solutions and processes which ensures data are of high quality where the ownwership lies in the creating functions.
During your creation of the one data platform in GPV, you will be supported by dedicated colleagues working with data solution for years within GPV and together bridge the future with the present.

Expectations of you:
In order to succeed as Data Platform Manager, it is crucial you are able to develop short- and long-term data strategy, supporting the business needs of the organization, as well as presenting ready-to-implement solutions for a sustainable data warehouse or data lake. You strive to implement and anchor new solutions in the organization with added value for the business, drive data validation in the responsible global functions and operating business units, and create data environments for different needs. You have an analytical mindset, process and solution oriented, familiarize yourself with new challenges quickly, and you easily involve with colleagues from the entire organization.
We expect the transportation time from your place of residence to be a maximum of approximately 60 minutes to the company office in Vejle.

- Responsible for organizing, creating structure for collection, maintenance, and storage large data sets from various data sources
- Ensuring data quality through standardization, validation, and quality control
- Responsible for establishing and developing GPV Group's future data platform, including associated systems and processes
- Strategic selection of business partners, and technology vendors
- Ensuring compliance of practical data management
- Communicating with stakeholders, i.e., preparation, implementation, and project initiation
- Involving global functions and operating business units to create sustainable solutions with local ownerships
- Establishing the new data platform and transferring data from existing data sources
- Creating a user friendly and liable data platform, where data is updated, validated, and accessible
- Managing and maintaining existing data platform during the development process
- Creating integration solutions for efficient data management from core application

Expectations of you:
- A relevant IT bachelor’s degree (Data Engineer, Data Scientist or Statistician) or equivalent Business Economics education with data focus
- Minimum 10 years of practical working experience
- Experience from a larger internal IT department, Digitalization, and/or IT Consulting
- Solid experience with data management and architectures (large data sets from multible sources), including talent for working with analytics tools and complex data sets
- Programming skills (SQL and e.g., Python/R) and BI application experience (e.g., Targit, Qlik, PowerBI )
- Knowledge of the newest trends within data management and how to bridge with existing approaches
- Knowledge of cloud technologies in a hybrid cloud environment
- You can communicate solutions across all levels of the organization
- You have strong communication skills with fluency in English (both written and spoken). Danish language is an advantage but not a requirement
