In Communications our work and stories are aligned with the overall business strategy. Our communications strategy feeds into the overall business strategy building on specific core themes. Every time we publish a story it will be linked to the themes.
What is your role?
You will own and drive our social media presence, from concept and planning to smooth execution, analytics and deep dive into monthly reporting making sure we are aligned with the strategic direction of Milestone. You will advise on employee advocacy, executive leadership advocacy and thought leadership communication. When telling the stories of our company it is key that you collaborate with cross-functional teams, crafting our innovative social media strategy and creative content with great impact.
You will:
- Own our social media channels, identify key strategic focus areas stories within Milestone and keep our social media news feeds updated with updated and targeted content.
- Ensure consistent and aligned messaging with the overall business strategy and the communications strategy.
- Stakeholder management: You will be in touch with a lot of people to ensure we have the right stories in our pipeline which are in line with Milestone’s vision and strategy.
- Provide insights and recommendations for social media strategies, bringing your knowledge of the newest trends and technologies to the table.
- Daily creation and execution on content for social media be it videos, photo stories, podcasts, articles etc.
- Via Hootsuite you will analyze and create monthly reports, globally and per regions: Closely analyze on ongoing social media initiatives, measuring their effectiveness, and reporting on results with clear, actionable insights.
- Via TalkWalker you will analyze market trends via social listening on specific themes.
- Stay on top of the latest social platforms, tools, and technologies; educate the Communications team and share creative ideas on how we can leverage them.
As our Social Media Manager, you will have global responsibility and run an operation across EMEA, Americas and APAC. You will report to Hanne Breindahl, Communications Manager in Communications and be stationed at our Danish Headquarter in Denmark. You will work closely with the Communications team who covers the areas of Corporate PR, Executive Leadership communication, Thought Leadership communication, and Internal Communication.
PLEASED TO MEET YOU
We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Manager who can oversee social media strategies for content development and distribution across our target community of press, media, business partners, employees, and executive management. The ideal candidate can handle Social Media community management strategies; lead a process of writing and approving social media copy; and master performance analytics. The content you drive will help inform and inspire the media, business leaders and Milestone business partners around the world.
This is you:
- 5-7 years experience within social media, community management, audience development or content development experience.
- Master degree within the discipline of communication.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
- Experienced in building up an editorial calendar in a global setting.
- Strong strategic communications skills with the experience and ability to develop and implement robust plans.
- Comfortable working across multiple organizational boundaries and stakeholders both inside the company and with our external partners.
- A sharp observer of regional and global media issues with an ability to reflect the company’s need to remain a thoughtful and often non-partisan contributor to debates.
- Deadline driven and have experience summarizing stories and concepts and creating accurate copy for social media.
- Strong understanding of digital media and experience working with creators of content, including long-form stories, videos, and graphics.
