IcoSema, is a combination of once-weekly insulin icodec and once-weekly GLP-1 semaglutide and the phase IIIa clinical trial programme is expected to be finalised in 2024. The commercial team is currently working towards and preparing for a commercial launch of this new asset. The position Your primary responsibility will be to lead and drive the upcoming strong launch brand campaign and messaging for Novo Nordisk and help prepare a world-class launch of IcoSema.
In collaboration with your colleagues in global, regional and affiliate offices, you will: Lead the development and co-creation of the IcoSema brand with innovative commercial campaigns Develop a very strong and simple message platform and promotional story based on clinical phase III results Work in close collaboration with operations and top 10 global markets Drive both strategic and tactical plans, and execution as IcoSema project lead Qualifications We expect you to have an academic degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Medicine, or another relevant field. You also hold at least 5-8 years of experience from working in either affiliate marketing teams, global or regional roles. Kindly note that pharmaceutical background of such positions is a must. It’s a strong advantage if you have experience from launching global pharmaceutical brands, and you have good understanding of how to build and communicate a global brand that can be executed successfully in a market. To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have: Ability to develop global campaigns and strong key messaging platforms Analytical skills to interpret clinical data and turn it into promotional benefits Proven track record of leading and managing large global advertising agencies Solid experience with shaping and delivering strategic go-to-market plans preferably for a launch brand and anchoring brand work directly into positioning platforms Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to drive complex decision making in a matrix organisation Experience with tactical brand management would furthermore be a strong qualifier for this role Above all, we hope to welcome a true team player and a strong commercial brand lead strategist into this truly exciting and once in a life-time global commercial role, and for the right candidate offer an opportunity of a transformative career journey. The unit is globally responsible for developing and commercialising the insulin portfolio of both in-market products as well as driving the launch strategy and execution of two exciting and unique assets that are currently in clinical development. The team is responsible for setting the global strategic direction for the portfolio of brands through a co-creation approach with both global, regional and affiliate stakeholders. Driving portfolio strategies and ensuring strong tactical programs and tools are available to markets is also part of the key roles and responsibilities. The role is located at headquarters in Søborg, Denmark, within Novo Nordisk’s Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs Organisation. You will report to the Global Vice President of IcoSema and you will be joining a team of driven marketing professionals engaged in leading innovative commercial strategies and launches across the global organisation.
