After the AGCO acquisition in 2016, Cimbria now undergoes rapid development being fully integrated into the global structure of AGCO. This transformation brings exciting times in Cimbria, and among a lot of changes a new marketing organisation has been established. A fundamental goal for the new marketing team is to implement a Digital Communication strategy for the company, and to lead this journey, AGCO needs a Digital and Social Media Specialist. You will get a reporting line to the Marketing Manager for the Europe, Middle East and North African business unit. The Marketing Manager is situated in Italy, and so are some of your colleagues in the Grain & Protein Marketing team. You will also have a marketing colleague at the Cimbria headquarter in Thisted. However, as your stakeholders are globally dispersed and you have a digital mindset, you are able to work from your home office as much as you prefer and have a chair available in either Thisted or Herning to use whenever you like.
Implementation of a new digital strategy
You will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Cimbria’s multi-channel communication strategies and online presence. You will also be a strong contributor to the individual country marketing teams, helping to develop local marketing communication and media strategies.

To be successful in your new role, you need to define your position as a competent and visionary marketing specialist with courage and capabilities to lift digital and social media marketing in AGCO to a higher level. Your success will be measured on your ability to drive the digital marketing strategy and the related projects end-to-end and to meet the listed business targets for the marketing plans.
Strategic mindset with strong execution power
As a minimum you have a bachelor’s degree or similar, and you have 3-5 years of relevant digital marketing experience in your backpack. You may have worked in a big, international company or in an agency, where social media and digital marketing is a well-known phenomenon, and you have the energy and motivation to develop the same area in Cimbria.
You have a good analytical and strategic mindset, and you are fast, energetic and creative when it comes to change and execution. You have well-proven networking skills, and you know how to navigate in a colourful world with various stakeholders from different regions, departments and levels.
You are not a programmer nor a graphics designer, but you know how to play that game, and you have a solid knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, webdesign and digital media platforms. Your colleagues see you as a creative and reflective person with the ability to manage an innovative approach. Finally, you are able to operate in an English-speaking environment on a daily basis.

Implementation of a new digital strategy
You will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Cimbria’s multi-channel communication strategies and online presence. You will also be a strong contributor to the individual country marketing teams, helping to develop local marketing communication and media strategies.
Among a broad variety of assignments and projects you will deal with:
- Implement social media strategy and coordinate social and digital media contents
- Contribute to improve the design and contents on the company's website and Social Media Channels
- Contribute to brand enhancement through awareness campaigns on various social media channels
- Generate and publish digital content on a daily basis (text, photos, videos and news etc.)
- Develop and manage digital communication campaigns using various tools and techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
- Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency and to optimize the digital experience of the costumer
- Collaborate with international team on digital performance and projects
