The Blade engineering team is part of our Engineering department. In Engineering we continuously strive to be at the very forefront of the newest technologies working to ensure continuous improvements to solutions, technologies and applications.
The role has a wide surface of contact within the entire organisation and you will join an exciting transformation phase setting up our new competence centre giving you great opportunities to influence this development.
Responsibilities & tasks: You will…
As an Engineering Specialist, Blades, your main responsibility will be the technical reliability during the entire value chain of the blades, with focus on materials. You will cooperate closely with suppliers and participate in technical meeting with our customers. You will work on engineering activities regarding the blades to ensure optimised performance, quality, logistics and total cost on all platforms and turbine releases.
In collaboration with the rest of the Blade team you will be responsible for:
Development of Leading Edge Protection Solutions Ensure technical evaluation and approval of components and materials working closely with suppliers in realising solutions Maintain specifications and FMEA with inputs from operational experience in the value chain Conduct efficient and effective Improvement Cases applying the DMAIC methodology Implement technical changes by use of the ECM process and follow up on feedback from the implementation Participate in technology development, and incorporate operational feedback from the value chain
Skills & experience: Our new colleague…
…has in-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience with blade designs, preferably from the wind turbine industry. You have a strong drive to achieve good results whilst keeping excellent work ethic. You have an analytical work style and you are an innovative problem solver who can foresee global technology development within blade engineering.

Hold a relevant engineering degree Have relevant experience within wind turbine blade design and composite materials and processes Possess strong English communication skills Have a positive mindset
