Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) is a global organization that target to innovate and improve production technology to create competitiveness for Grundfos. We set the direction on how to produce for Grundfos Operations.

Our department supports the Grundfos production as well as being a partner to Grundfos R&D. In the department, we are 20 engineers focusing on developing and implementing innovative manufacturing solutions for Grundfos. We work as a global team, both virtually cross boarder as well as onsite in development projects. You will report to Manager, Morten Houlind Simonsen.

“You will join a highly technical and project-oriented department, where we are passionate about implementation of manufacturing technology. Aside from running major projects, we also carry out technology development which involves simulation, maturation and integration. We are the ones to integrate the different technologies into one joint, robust production solution” Morten explains.

What is the job about?
You will be part of projects, developing and implementing new manufacturing technology, maturing concepts and planning the design. This entails programming and run-in special equipment according to standards. A central part of your job will be implementation and integration to ensure a robust production, document processes and learnings as well as make sure everything is ready for CE marking.

Your primary tasks involve:

  • PLC and HMI programming according to standards for special machines
  • Robot programming (KRL/Java) and run-in according to standards
  • Additionally, programming with languages as C#, Java, C, C++, Python, VBA , Matlab etc.
  • Simulation of industrial robots with software like Delmia, RoboDK, office lite etc.
  • Development of standards, modules and manufacturing processes
  • Training of and support to maintenance and suppliers
  • Support Grundfos in becoming data driven

What do you need to apply?

  • You hold a degree in engineering combined with some years of experience in development and implementation of production technology. However, newly graduates are also welcoming to apply
  • You have flair and interest for integration and optimization of advanced production processes
  • You are familiar with programming, preferably PLC and Robot. It’s a plus, if you know of servo motion, laser welding, Rockwell Automation and KUKA products
  • You speak and write English effortlessly
