We are looking for a Manager for SCADA Project to work within our Business Area (BA) Wind, Offshore, Engineering, Electrical infrastructure & SCADA.The Engineering department is the technical know-how centre and home of technical competences within BA Wind, setting the standards and guidelines as well as being embedded within our projects to drive technical excellence through the whole project lifecycle.
Working within the Electrical & SCADA department of Engineering, the Manager of SCADA Project will reference to the manager of the Power Studies, Control and SCADA Implementation which have the overall responsibility for competence area leading up to Grid Code Compliance and SCADA implementation on new project assets. You will oversee the competence area for the SCADA implementation. In more detail the department consists of 10 employees divide between SCADA Package managers, SCADA Projects Engineers and Network Engineers, that cover all phases from the development, design, installation and commissioning of SCADA equipment to handover to operation and maintain of the wind farm asset.
Key Responsibilities:
As manager of SCADA Project you will:• Lead the department for technical competences.
• Setting the direction and strategy for the department, including securing department support for the BA grows and strategy.
• Responsible for setting the frame for provision of technical solutions and personal utilizing the departments processes and tools in the respective area.
• Planning and management of workforce and specialized competences against tasks and
project assignments. Collaboration with neighbouring departments on collective approaches when required.
• Development of team members along the project management, technical and project engineering competence tracks while arranging an efficient collaboration in between the different roles & functions.
• Build culture and ways of working in department driving innovation, simple and cost-efficient solution while handling associated risks, keeping high focus on quality and safety by design.
• Ensures full utilization of team while interacting with external suppliers of persona and technical services to balance resource demand.
Qualifications:
You are experience in leading an international team with high technical skilled persons within the field of SCADA or wind industry with following qualifications:
• Have a master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar.
• Have experience with leading engineers across geographical distance
• Min 5 years of experience within wind power industry, preferable with SCADA and automation systems and product quality.
• Strong HSE culture, with a strong commitment to contribute to the development and delivery of inherently safer wind farm projects
• Dedicated interest in leadership towards a team and as element of personal development.
• Demonstrable project management and leadership experience
• Good English language skills. Danish/German language skills an advantage
• Flexible approach to travel

You have a high degree of self motivation and you often bring new ideas and approaches in work-related issues that can be transformed into action and give results.
You have a proactive, systematic and focused approach in your work and are strongly performance oriented, and like challenges.
