Manufacturing & Global Procurement Blades VBIC Tooling Mould Build
VBIC Tooling is focused on manufacturing tools which are used as a main tool or supporting tool in wind blade production. This is done through various steps which starts with a PRS, TRS, Design, prototype, validation BoT , FAT and SAT.
You will be a part of the of Mould & Mechanical Engineering depart where we design wind blade plugs, moulds & jigs from blade geometry based on the TRS. Tools are more focused for the best quality of blades, shorter production cycles and maximum automisation. Also our engineers conduct inspections and validate the tool according to the specifications. You will be a part of highly motivated and skilled team. Your job will be located in Lem, Denmark.

Responsibilities
- Develop design and drawings from 3D input in Creo, Solid Edge, CATIA of wind blade geometry to plug / mould tools based on specifications
- Will be responsible for an efficient stake holder management with all internal and external stake holder for timely completion job and targets
- Deliver mould frame structural calculations/ FEA and assist in developing/optimise designs and processes. Also should be able to generate solutions for design challenges
- Responsible for providing the most robust, reliable, efficient solutions with highest performance at the lowest cost & meeting targets
- Adherence to TRS, validation and all external standards as e.g. CE & UL standards etc.
- Conducting efficient FAT , SAT with internal and external stake holders
- Understanding and timely completion of ECO / OSOS tasks
Qualifications
- Engineering degree, either Bachelor or Master level
- Extensive knowledge from design , prototyping and FEA calculations
- Experience and specific results from manufacturing companies. Min. 2 years
- Results from cost out or value engineering projects
- Experience in tooling design and calculation of wind blade mould is an advantage
- Strong documentation and specification skills
Competencies
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management both internally and externally
- Software skills like Solid Edge, CAD, CATIA, ANSYS
- Good communication skills which enable you to convey complex problems to a wide range of stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills and be able to manage sub-projects and it's important that you can meet deadlines
- Process oriented and have a structured way to work
- Proactive, keen and motivated
