Sales Global Construction Management Global Tools Tools Region EMEA
The Global Construction department is where new installation and Balance of Plant product ideas and technologies are identified, co-developed and matured for testing and implementation in the value chain. We work closely together with our development and global procurement functions as well as our strategic suppliers.
In Global Tools we are responsible for the usage, delivery and support on tools for our turbines around the world. You will be part of a sub-department that give technical support to the sites and projects located in the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) as well as Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
You will be part of a large team which consists of many different profiles ranging from procurement, to warehouse, production and repair shop, to logistics as well as technical engineering. The team is international, since we in our region alone, are placed at three locations: In Videbæk (Denmark), in Husum (Germany), and in Zaragoza (Spain).
Responsibilities
As an engineer in our department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the Sales Business Units (SBU´s), Construction Tools Hub´s (CTH), Global Procurement (GP) and Technology & Service Solutions (TSS) for technical tasks related to Tools. Below are typical, but not limited to, daily work tasks as a Technical Support Engineer in Vestas:
Qualifications
We expect that you have at least a bachelor’s degree and/or above e.g. in Mechanical Engineering or related. More importantly, you have experience with tools and technical support.

Responsibilities
As an engineer in our department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the Sales Business Units (SBU´s), Construction Tools Hub´s (CTH), Global Procurement (GP) and Technology & Service Solutions (TSS) for technical tasks related to Tools. Below are typical, but not limited to, daily work tasks as a Technical Support Engineer in Vestas:
- Technical interface between SBU´s, TSS, GP and regional Construction Tools Hub´s
- Implementation of new releases tools through ECOs into packing list
- Maintenance of configuration lead
- Updating of tool packing lists for specific MK versions and Tower TAD (LDST) in Corporation with Construction
- Part of process of implementing new tools
Qualifications
We expect that you have at least a bachelor’s degree and/or above e.g. in Mechanical Engineering or related. More importantly, you have experience with tools and technical support.
We prefer that you have a:
- Minimum of 3-5 years related experience as an Electrical/ Mechanical Engineer in a well-established multinational Company. International experience in a global multicultural environment is a plus
- Proven track record in project-oriented work in a make-to-order environment and understanding the importance of project plans and deadlines
- Good level of skills in related IT system within the area of employment. Demonstrated proficiency in following software: SAP (PE01) or equivalent ERP Software, SAP Document Management System (DMS), Engineering Change Management (ECM), Microsoft Office
- Proficient communicating in English both verbally and in writing
