QuadSAT is a start-up company founded in 2017, located at the UAS test facility site at HCA Airport in Odense. QuadSAT develops UAS payload systems and testing techniques to challenge current expensive test range alternatives for SatCom antenna manufacturers, satellite operator, and service providers. QuadSAT currently has 10 employees, most of whom are internationals.
A Unique Engineering Opportunity
QuadSAT is looking for an experienced engineer who will be responsible for designing and building the next generation of UAV antenna performance evaluation payloads. You will be part of a young and international team of enthusiastic engineers in a fast and agile product development environment. At QuadSAT there is space to be creative and make a big impact with your skills and knowledge.
QuadSAT is searching for a senior design engineer with experience in mechanical design and electrical harness design. The ideal candidate will have the practical skills required to build prototypes and products, which includes a knowledge of assembly, wiring, soldering, microcontrollers, and instrumentation.
In this role, you will be responsible for multiple aspects of product design of UAV payloads including:
QuadSAT is an international company with customers all over the world. It is expected that you may need to travel for 20-30 working days per year in this position.

- Electrical harness design.
- 3D printing and CNC machining of parts.
- Manufacture of low volume prototype and products.
- Calibration and testing of UAV payload performance.
- CAD Design.
- Integration of microcontrollers.
- Bill of materials.
- Documentation and test reports.
QuadSAT is an international company with customers all over the world. It is expected that you may need to travel for 20-30 working days per year in this position.

Our ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 2 years professional experience related to product development.
- Bachelor or Masters in either Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with soldering, assembly, microcontrollers and instrumentation.
- Excellent English language proficiency.
- Clean criminal record certificate for access to the HCA Airport.
It is an advantage to also have experience with:
- CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Coding such as Python and C++.
- Ardupilot/Mavlink and DJI API.
- Drone flight.
- Gimbal controllers such as SimpleBGC.
- SatCom knowledge.
- RF knowledge.
- 3D printing and CNC machining.
