Do you want to develop and coordinate health economic initiatives for Ambu's Nordic sales subsidiary in order to boost our business? As our new Health Economist for ST NEM (Sales Territory Nordic and Emerging Markets), you will have a unique opportunity to apply your competencies and really influence the business. You will join a rapidly growing sales company based out of Ballerup. In ST NEM Marketing, we are currently six highly motivated employees and you will join a well-functioning team.
Develop and coordinate health economic initiatives
In close collaboration with your manager and the corporate Health Economic function, your main objective will be to develop and coordinate health economic initiatives for ST NEM and enhance the health economic competencies in our organization.
Your primary areas of responsibility will be to:
Conduct Health economic and outcomes research (HEOR) activities with ST NEM markets, including cost-comparison studies and cost-effectiveness analyses and setting up relevant other studies Develop health economic sales tools such as budget impact models for the sales team in ST NEM Design and develop education and training to sales team and distributor teams on health economy and how to best communicate health economic studies and results Support the sales organisation by conducting budget impact models for large accounts Lead discussions and negotiations with hospital decision-makers Communicate health economic results with internal and external customers in order to manage business relationships with stakeholders and key opinion leaders
As part of the job, you will work in close collaboration and spar with our internal Corporate Health Economic function and with external societies to communicate results and influence decision-making. This means that you can expect a certain amount of traveling (approx. 25 days per year).
A sound health economic background
As the ideal candidate, you have a background within HEOR and you have some years of experience in communicating health economic results e.g. cost-comparison studies and cost-effectiveness analyses. As a minimum, you hold a master’s degree in health economics, health policy or a related field and you have work experience within medical devices or pharma.
It is critical that you have great communication skills and it is essential that you have a sales mind-set and a can-do attitude. As a person, you like to work independently and are detail-oriented, structured, energetic and socially competent which enables you to interact with customers from different cultural backgrounds.
Your daily work will mainly be in English, hence excellent oral and written language skills are required. If you command a Nordic language it is an advantage.
