Are you looking for an exciting hands-on learning opportunity to supplement your studies? Are you studying a Master’s degree and do you want to work with digital technologies in Novo Nordisk? Join us as an Intern in Novo Nordisk and get an opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues from many different nationalities.
The working hours are flexible from min 18h to max 37h a week enabling you to combine an internship with lectures at university, project work or writing your Bachelor/Master’s thesis. It is an opportunity for a unique learning experience and a chance to turn theories into practice.
About the Department
Global Contract Manufacturing (GCM) is responsible Novo Nordisk’s outsourced production. The primary role of GCM is to manage the production and supply chain activities of external manufacturers delivering high quality products to patients all over the world. You will be based in GCM Business support, which is responsible for driving and facilitating cross-departmental processes and projects to support the core business of GCM. We work closely together with the Management team to identify and execute strategic projects with the purpose of improving processes and increasing transparency in a complex setting. The department has recently embarked on a journey towards the implementation of new digital solutions to support different areas of our business.
We are a team of 11 dedicated colleagues with an international mindset, who value humour and team work. You will join our group of 6 interns and student assistants working closely together to execute tasks and share knowledge.
The Position
You will be part of our new journey towards Industry 4.0, being an active participant to various projects related to digitalization, advanced analytics and automation. You will be working on a team, implementing and adapting new technologies to the needs of our business. Among other tasks, you will be involved in the implementation of cloud solutions to integrate with our suppliers, the digitalization of our KPIs and the use of advanced analytics to increase our robustness and proactivity towards the supply chain.
You will also take part in the project planning and stakeholder management, ensuring that our stakeholders are engaged throughout the whole project. As a team member, you will take full responsibility for your tasks and will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the outcome of the project.
You will get the chance to learn in a relaxed environment, through tasks adjusted to personal development goals whenever possible. You will receive continuous feedback on your work, and we will support you in building a network beneficial to your professional and personal growth.
• Internship period: 6 months (with the possibility of a 6-month extension)
• Working hours: Full-time (min. 18 and max. 37 hours a week)
• Start date: Aug 1 or as agreed
• Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
• A Danish full-time work permit is required
• Enrolment in a BSc. or MSc. is required
Qualifications
• Proven analytical skills, normally acquired through the pursuit of a Bachelor's, Master's in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science/Analytics, Economics or a related field
• Fluency with at least one analysis tool such as R, Python or MATLAB and the ability to transfer that knowledge to other tools
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Knowledge of Alteryx and Tableau is a plus
• Good communicator and curious towards new technologies
• Ability to cooperate in a professional manner with stakeholders at different levels of the organization and bring a positive attitude to the department and projects you work on
• High level of drive and a “can-do-attitude”
• As we are a global company, fluency in both spoken and written English is required
