Do you want to take part in implementation of new primary packaging for Novo Nordisk? And do you have the skills to coordinate design verification test as well as to develop and implement new test methods on Primary Packaging Materials? Are you capable to evaluate the quality of IPC and QC controls at suppliers’ production sites?

About the department
You will join Material ManDev in Product Supply Sourcing Operations. We consist of 70 employees organised in five teams. We are responsible for development and implementation of complex materials (raw materials, excipients, Primary Packaging materials etc.) from development to production and maintain documentation on existing materials. We cooperate with a variety of functions, including CMC, Device R&D, QC laboratories, QA, various Novo Nordisk production sites and a range of external suppliers and contract manufactures (CMO).
The job
You will be responsible for coordinating verification tests required for approval of new or changed primary packaging materials. Besides coordinating with laboratories and contributing with relevant protocols and reports, you will also be responsible for developing and validating new QC methods for the primary packaging QC laboratory. We do not have laboratory facilities in our own team, which means that close collaboration with QC laboratories will be part of your daily work. You will also be in a close cooperation with the risk managers and requirement engineers who set specifications for the primary packaging.
A broad understanding of test methods and validation is needed, and a high cGMP and compliance mind-set is required. In general, the assignments carried out by the department are diverse as we deliver to all parts of Novo Nordisk. This gives a variety of challenges and strong collaboration with your colleagues is therefore an essential key to success.
Qualifications
You hold a master’s degree in engineering or another relevant field within the natural sciences. Your degree is supplemented with several years of experience within requirement engineering or a test environment and in-depth knowledge of working with cGMP. Strong project management and communication skills are required. You have a high level of energy to drive yourself and your colleagues forward. You are result-oriented and take pride in delivering on your milestones, and you motivate your colleagues with a positive, forthcoming attitude. You work well independently, although it also motivates you to cooperate with colleagues and stakeholders across functions and departments. Lastly, you must have fluency in written and spoken English.
