About the department
In Digital Health we strive to develop and plan for commercialisation of digital health solutions or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) solutions to ensure that patients maximise the therapeutic benefits from Novo Nordisk products. The Digital Health department is part of the business unit Commercial Business Development.
The position
As our new Digital Health Innovation Lead, you will be part of the commercialisation of smart pens and digital therapeutics on various levels.
You will be scoping and driving pilots of Digital Health solutions in close collaboration with stakeholders from brand teams, affiliates, and the cross-functional Global Project Team (including a wide area of functions including DRD, Regulatory Affairs, Product Supply, Digital Health IT, Patient Access, Medical & Science etc). This includes a high degree of cross-functional project management and being the commercial anchor for development of new Digital Health solutions.
In addition, you will be Product Owner (PO) for a Digital Health companion app having responsibility for the creation of a product vision and guidance at initiation of a new app for connected smart pens that will support people with chronic conditions using Novo Nordisk products, and their HCPs.
You will be the go-to-person when it comes to piloting new approaches or initiating new projects for development of digital therapeutics.
The role has a global reach and travel is expected up to 10-20 days per year.
Qualifications
You have a Master’s degree or above in a relevant area as well as formal project management training and a proven track record of successfully driving projects from early ideas to realised benefits and your projects are executed within a global framework and a diverse and complex stakeholder landscape. The ideal candidate has at least six years of relevant work experience including experience with projects in a commercial function. Therapy area knowledge for diabetes or other chronic conditions is considered a major plus.
You are known for your passion and drive when exploring new territory, and you feel comfortable breaking new ground. You thrive working with stakeholders from across the organisation, so you are not shy to discuss with colleagues with widely different backgrounds and expertise compared to your own. You are recognised as an experienced project manager who leads high performing and engaged project teams. You never lose focus, despite changing demands or tight deadlines.
You have strong communication skills including the ability to communicate complex subjects in an easy and understandable way and have excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
