The position
The IT Operations manager holds the overall responsibility of IT Operation services in the EMEA North Region.
responsible for day-to-day management of the regional/area specific IT Operations teams focusing on onsite IT support, IT infrastructure maintenance, ensuring IT Security compliance and seek improvements to relevant affiliates whenever feasible.
Qualifications
Experience in people leadership, budget management and operational management are a must alongside a history of driving continuous improvement.

Global Service Desk & IT Support (ITS) is anchored within the Global IT Operations organisation and has employees based in different countries across the world. In Global IT, we work Agile, and in the ITS Product Area, we have four products and eight regional teams. The products cover Global Service Desk, Global On-Site Support, Operational Excellence, and Shared Support Solutions. You will be part of a continued journey to deploy and improve the Agile organisation and competencies.
The team atmosphere in ITS is informal and friendly, and consists of ambitious, curious, and skilled Regional Managers and skilled IT Support Specialists, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners.

The position
The IT Operations manager holds the overall responsibility of IT Operation services in the EMEA North Region.
responsible for day-to-day management of the regional/area specific IT Operations teams focusing on onsite IT support, IT infrastructure maintenance, ensuring IT Security compliance and seek improvements to relevant affiliates whenever feasible.
- Regional/area specific LoB (line of business) and to ensure high user and customer satisfaction with the IT Operations services
- Overseeing respective service desk units in providing quality & timely resolutions to LoB
- IT vendors & service providers to ensure quality & timely delivery of the IT services
- Manage the contracts with the affiliate-based IT vendors & suppliers
- Coaching employees participating on projects
Qualifications
Experience in people leadership, budget management and operational management are a must alongside a history of driving continuous improvement.
- M.Sc., MBA, or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration)
- 7+ years of experience with IT operations and/or IT management in a large global company 4+ years of people management experience in a large global company
- Proven track record of stakeholder management and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Strong knowledge of customer and supplier relations management
- Business level of English (written and verbal)
