Senior IT Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join us in Manufacturing IT Supply Chain and to lead large implementations within our Planning & Purchasing area.

The position
You will be working mainly in our Planning & Purchasing agile team ensuring that solutions and teams are aligned across a large stakeholder landscape. You will work closely together with our agile organisation in an Agile Release Train (ART) including line of business and IT team members as well as external vendors.
Your key responsibilities will fall into these primary areas:
Qualifications
You come with a Master’s degree in Business, IT or another relevant field and ready to go into the Agile transformation.
Furthermore, we expect you to have:
As you have good interpersonal skills in being able to guide and challenge your colleagues in the line of business, when needed. Experience within the pharmaceutical industry will be an advantage.
Last but not least, you are fluent in both written and spoken English.
About the department
Manufacturing IT, within the Global IT Organisation, is a unit responsible for more than 40 global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support and development of these systems. The systems are used on a global scale by all areas of the business from R&D to Sales and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as development, manufacturing, sales, finance, etc. The strategic objective of the unit is to be the IT partner for the business ensuring that we provide the IT solutions and support which is needed to support the Novo Nordisk production solution as well as supply chain needs worldwide.

The position
You will be working mainly in our Planning & Purchasing agile team ensuring that solutions and teams are aligned across a large stakeholder landscape. You will work closely together with our agile organisation in an Agile Release Train (ART) including line of business and IT team members as well as external vendors.
Your key responsibilities will fall into these primary areas:
- Define project approach including organisation, scope, activities, and resource allocation
- Manage vendors, incl. contracts, collaboration, and vendor performance
- Ensure project’s integration in the ART, in collaboration with ART leadership and Scrum Master
- Manage interdependencies within the project tracks and between the project and other initiatives as well as business and system risk incl. timely escalation.
- Responsible for project budget and initial system management budget
Qualifications
You come with a Master’s degree in Business, IT or another relevant field and ready to go into the Agile transformation.
Furthermore, we expect you to have:
- Excellent communication skills in speech and writing
- Result oriented and take clear ownership for assigned tasks
- Flexible attitude, proactive and able to take initiative
- Vendor management experience ensuring alignment on critical deliveries as well as having the ability to ensure diverge interests find a common solution
- Good understanding of agile framework (e.g. SAFe) and working in agile teams will be an added advantage
