Order to Cash in Novo Nordisk is defined as all commercial processes from customer creation to cash collection. We operate across several functional areas to improve value creation of the entire Order to Cash process to a new level by improving standardisation, improve system utilization while allowing full integration of local processes into the core SAP environment.
Key areas across operations: pricing, market access, supply chain, product supply, accounting, finance, and IT.
We are looking for a Head of Global O2C to set direction for our newly created Global Order to Cash team. This newly created position is your entry into a dynamic environment, offering an outstanding opportunity to drive significant business impact and shape the future of Order to Cash in Novo Nordisk. You will gain broad insights into Novo Nordisk world-wide business and collaborate in the intersection between business (affiliates/regions) and IT.
The position
We are looking for a candidate with an interest in business processes and people management with a global reach. A person with a drive to get the day-to-day business processes efficiently in place, while supporting the commercial operation in developing new capabilities and insights for the organisation.
As head of our brand-new Global Order to Cash department, you will lead a small team and work with a broad range of close stakeholders in HQ, Regional HQs, regional Supply Chain CoEs and Affiliate and lead the maturity journey of Novo Nordisk Order to Cash processes by enabling a standard process landscape with affiliate archetype(s) supported by core system functionality. You will be:
Responsible for delivering Novo Nordisk Order to Cash strategy 2025 incl:
- Functional Benchmark
- Defining and monitoring Order to Cash end-to-end process and associated Key Performance Indicators
- Order to Cash strategy reporting and events (Hackathons)
- Pipeline overview of running Order to Cash initiatives and alignment to IT
Ensuring that communication around achievements, progress and future goals are being spread to all relevant stakeholders across organisational areas, internal as well as external
Setting up a structure for sustainable solutions e.g., training platform
Creating a fun and engaging work environment with focus on coaching and development of team members Overall, the role is very broad and require a solid structure and ability to create overview in a large pipeline of initiatives, deadlines, and stakeholders. You will be setting the directions between colleagues, delivery teams, and externals along side with the team to deliver on the strategy.

Qualifications
You have decided to apply for this role because you are experienced with Order to Cash and have minimum 7 years of experience within Finance and Supply chain.
Order to Cash processes are well known for you, and you have worked in at least one or more of the process areas: Order and Contract Management, Operations and Supply Chain Execution, Invoicing and Accounts Receivables, ideally at an affiliate or consolidation levels.
You have proven managerial experience with a strong track record of people development.
You likely have a Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Throughout your education and professional experience, you have developed outstanding process understanding and coordination skills, combined with high proficiency in optimisation and a structured approach to your task.
You have experience navigating and leading collaboration for impact in a global, complex, and matrix environment, a good understanding of SAP and Business process flows.
You have strong stakeholder management skills; your good energy and professionalism spread across and improve delivery and results for the people you are working with. You are familiar with Agile methodology and have IT project experience.
You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment, have a strong cultural understanding and exceptional communication skills, with high command of written and spoken English. You pride yourself in your ability to make the complex simple and your personal drive, self-motivating ability, and positive mind-set.
About the department
Our new Global Order to Cash team is a part of Digital Finance and Architecture within Finance and Compliance. The team is a new centre of excellence for Order to Cash with the purpose of supporting business in improving Data Analytics and Process Management, Process Digitalization and Business Value for the end-to-end process.
The job is located in Novo Nordisk Headquarters in Bagsværd. You will be part of a newly established group of 4-5 dedicated colleagues with a wealth of experience from a broad range of O2C fields from within and outside of Novo Nordisk.
