If yes, then you might be our new Project Management Officer (PMO) we are looking for to join our Global IT team. Apply now! The position As our new PMO, you will be responsible for driving the overall plan for the Integration Projects in Global IT Operations (GITO), meaning supporting the Project Managers and the Integration Lead in the planning of activities. Other responsibilities include:
  • Creating status reports to relevant Boards, Management groups and the Integration Management Office (IMO)
  • Being the contact to the development teams in GITO, ie. Understanding the agile cadence and ensure coordination across the different teams.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders globally, and informally make an impact for the better of the project
  • Ensuring that learnings from the integration is being captured in the M&A Playbook for Novo Nordisk IT integrations.
  • Coordinating with external resources and have the overview of capacity, dependencies and risks and ensure to drive the development of timely RAID reporting (Risk, Action, Issues and Decision log)
  • Skills we are looking for As an ideal candidate, you have:
  • A master’s degree in Business, IT or another relevant field
  • Couple of years of experience as part of a PMO, preferably in large complex organisations. It’s a plus if you have been exposed to M&A but not a requirement.
  • Deep knowledge in the phases of traditional Project Management, as well as agile ways of working
  • Good understanding in the importance of flexibility and change management to succeed with your ideas and to deliver on the project plan.
  • On a personal level, you are a team player and can build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders on all levels of an organisation. You can work independently and thrive in a busy and global environment where priorities change, and fast decisions are needed to move on. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and engage stakeholders at all levels. About the department The position is based in GITO - an area with ~450 employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure operations, CLOUD Services and digital workplace. The PMO will report to the Strategy Director of Strategy & Transformation. Strategy & Transformation is a team of 25 highly skilled and dedicated employees, responsible for driving the strategy and supporting the agile delivery engine in GITO, as well as securing the Integration of future acquisitions.
