Get introduced to CMC API Pilots, please visit our career page The position We are looking for skilled and committed Bachelor profiles, who also have a broad experience from practical work in a plant and can prepare GMP regulations and documentation. As a Pilot Technician, you will participate in all the team's process-related tasks:
  • buffer/media preparation
  • setting up process equipment
  • performing various protein purification steps
  • cleaning process equipment and updating instructions
    • Based on your technical knowledge, you will further participate in the ongoing work of keeping the equipment functional and to some extent be involved in fault finding and optimization of equipment. Our process flow is very variable, which is why different working hours may occur sometimes. However, this is always planned with the individual production in advance. Qualifications We would like you to be a Bachelor of life science, biotechnology, chemistry or similar. You are a quick learner and curious by nature, furthermore, you have:
  • experience from process plants and production under GMP
  • experience and skills for both the practical work in the facility, as well as preparing GMP regulations and documentation
  • knowledge of fermentation processes, column chromatography and/or filtration processes
  • familiarity with IT systems, as the daily work includes the use of our control systems
  • good and necessary understanding of hygiene and aseptic behaviour
    • In addition, it would be an advantage (but not a necessity) if you have experience with LEAN, as LEAN principles are an integral part of everyday life in our organization. Since most of the work takes place in close contact with your colleagues, a desire and ability to collaborate and communicate is a necessity. We also emphasize that you have a good spirit and proactively tackle tasks independently - even when they are not immediately put in front of you. You must be able to handle several tasks at the same time and maintain an overview in stressful situations. About the department Chemical Manufacturing & Control (CMC) API Pilot is divided into five departments, three facilities, and two locations. The Cultivation Pilot Plants department includes pilot scale facilities for cultivation and recovery of proteins at around 1000L scale. Our pharmaceutical production processes utilise mammalian cells, yeast and E. coli. Our purified proteins are utilised in clinical trials and developmental trials. The department consists of around 80 employees divided into 5 teams: 2 X Cultivation, 2 X Recovery teams & 1 X Support team.
