The position As a Senior Finance Partner, your primary role is to support key strategic decision-making around Supply/Demand topics from a finance perspective, linking Novo Nordisk’s supply and demand into holistic assessments. Main tasks of this role include:
  • Delivering business insights and sound recommendations to senior finance stakeholders in Novo Nordisk through supply/demand analyses and cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, the commercial units, and corporate commercial strategy.
  • Supporting various major strategic decisions such as capacity investment projects.
  • Driving strategic financial discussions, preparing supply allocation decisions, challenging business cases, preparing budget material and delivering solid financial reports supporting Novo Nordisk internal and external reporting, in collaboration with the team.
  • Acting as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders and utilise your finance expertise to impact their financial decisions.
    • Qualifications To thrive and succeed you have a relevant Master's degree in Finance or Economics with excellent results and ideally 3-4+ years of experience in a similar position. Further success criteria are:
  • Extensive work experience in Novo Nordisk and proven track record in driving financial analysis, budget processes, and reporting.
  • Experience from across the value chain and/or experience with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Advanced user in Microsoft Office and proficiency in working with financial systems.
    • On a personal level, you come with an attitude to drive projects forward, with excellent stakeholder management skills, a customer mindset as well as the ability to communicate complex insights in an effective way to senior management. About the department Sales Analysis and Insights is part of Corporate Financial Planning and responsible for the financial management of our two commercial units, North America Operations and International Operations. In addition, Sales Analysis & Insights supports Supply/Demand decision making (e.g. SDComm), through various analyses for senior management. Based on our finance partnering mind-set, the aim is to deliver business insights to our stakeholders during (e.g. as part of monthly SDComm meetings), financial planning processes, internal and external management reporting, and through forward looking sales forecasting, by combining strong financial competencies with solid business understanding. In Sales Analysis and Insights, you will be part of a young, dynamic and international finance team consisting of 5 dedicated team players.
