The job
You will be part of Strategic Finance & Productivity Insights team and act as Senior Finance Partner for the PSQIT Business Integration team assisting in maturing overall M&A transactions capability, in particular due diligences, specifically in the context of supporting with Full Manufacturing Cost (FMC) and financial modelling.As a Senior Finance Partner to Business Integration, your primary role will be to support the line of business by providing financial estimates to support the valuation of acquisition cases - both compound acquisitions and brownfield cases. The tasks include:Preparation of full financial modelling with different scenarios on operating cost, FTE, FMC and CAPEX, year on year, including full P&L effect Preparation of value estimates on different part of production facility/equipment Preparation of review material for senior stakeholders (PPT build up), and presentation of the financial aspect of the investment case Close collaboration with ambitious and talented stakeholders (BD Valuation team, functional experts etc) Optimisation of the financial model/presentation and improvement of data transparency over time to enable sound decision making Key stakeholders for this role are Corporate Development, Group Finance and functional diligence teams across various areas within Product Supply.The role reports to Director of Strategic Finance & Productivity Insights and it is based in Bagsværd HQ.About the department
Strategic Finance & Productivity Insights is part of Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT Finance) and consist of approx. 6 colleagues. Our ambition is that the team will consist of talents with diverse competences and backgrounds from fields such as finance, business development, as well as understanding and experience from our production and manufacturing processes.Qualifications
We are looking for an ambitious and proactive colleague who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in most of the following skills and experiences:You hold as a minimum a bachelor’s degree and at least 3-4 years of experience within business analysis, business controlling, finance, production costs estimates or similar You have business and financial understanding of Novo Nordisk´s manufacturing and Supply chain principles and how these could be translated into cost estimates in an M&A context Wider financial modelling skills (incl. DCF and NVP calculation) are strongly appreciated You have strong analytical and communication skills You have strong stakeholder management skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment Natural curiosity and willingness to use this to dive into the challenges As our corporate language is English, we expect you to be fluent both in written and spoken.
