Novo Nordisk continues to build and invest in in-house digital solutions, and we in the Digital Accelerator are playing an instrumental role in partnering with the business to bring these solutions to life. As a Senior Frontend Developer you will help us shape, develop and implement digital solutions in Product Supply, ultimately addressing some of the biggest business opportunities we have in Novo Nordisk.
You are to join an established cross-functional scrum team (Product Owner, UX/UI Designer, Frontend and Backend Engineers, Agile Coach and Scrum Master). The team delivers solutions to our Product Supply area, specializing in optimizing the digital capabilities of production sites in Novo Nordisk. We do this using a tech stack consisting of Azure PaaS services, supporting a RESTful API written in .NET 7 and C#, with a frontend web application using Angular and an mobile app built with Swift. For both the web application and the mobile app, we are in the middle of moving into vue.js.
Your day-to-day responsibilities are to: Develop complete features in Vue.js Build quality software that is intuitive, testable, and maintainable Refactor the codebase to improve quality or match changing requirements Provide clear and constructive comments for code reviews Lead the conversation in our SCRUM ceremonies within your domain Advise and consult UX/UI Designers and product owner on upcoming feature Understand the needs of the end-users / the core business challenge Candidate profile
As an ideal candidate we expect you hold a BSc or MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar related fields and you are able to tick most of the following boxes: 6+ years of work experience in software development VueJS or similar SPA frameworks Javascript and possibly Typescript Application development with complex RESTful API integrations SASS theming with CSS variables and design systems Writes clear and conscious code following agreed practices and patterns Understands CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of domain driven design patterns Knowledge of doing end to end testing with for instance Playwright Of course, all these responsibilities are covered by the team already, which means you will not be alone in any of this.
