We are looking for a Head of International Government Affairs & Policy (director level) to join our team at Novo Nordisk. The Position You will be responsible for developing and driving our global policy and strategy. You will lead a team of passionate and ambitious professionals based in Bagsværd, Denmark, and report to the Vice President of Global Public Affairs. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Set the strategic direction for Novo Nordisk’s corporate public affairs priorities in international markets, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and affiliates Drive excellence and capabilities in policy globally. Represent Novo Nordisk in relevant global forums, both internally and externally. Oversee the corporate positioning on key corporate policy issues such as intellectual property rights and other industrial policies Succeeding in the role involves the ability to think politically, understand the global political environment, build strategic alliances and partnerships with external stakeholders, as well as effective relationships across the internal Novo Nordisk value chain. You will play a critical role in supporting the organisation to navigate political challenges and opportunities across the globe. Frequent travel to meet internal and external stakeholders is expected. Qualifications To succeed in this position, you have: A university degree in business, political science, or a related field. International, senior-level experience within public affairs and politics. A track record of shaping, building, and driving impactful public affairs agendas from a corporate perspective. Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to create engagement and followership. Proven credibility with external and internal stakeholders at all levels.
