We are currently seeking two Project Controllers to join our CMC Investment in CMC Development and Scaling team at Novo Nordisk. The position The project portfolio in CMC Development and Scaling is growing and there is a need for more Project Controllers to support it. As a Project Controller, you will play a pivotal role in driving project control within the portfolio, ensuring efficient processes and contributing to project success. Your responsibilities will be to: Providing decision-making support, estimating, budgeting, and forecasting to the Project Management and Lead Controller.
Contribute to a further focus on improving project controls team effectiveness and help in optimizing and continually develop project controls processes.
Conduct Project Control and Support to Project Managers and Lead Controller: Assist Project Managers and Project Directors with overall project support, including follow up on Engineering, Procurement, and IPC progress.
Facilitate monthly progress and cost meetings with Work Pack Owners and mayor vendors.
Ensuring transparency on work packages and maintaining project cash flows and asset creations.
Supporting finance in AB/RE processes and creating monthly follow-up reports on work packages and projects.
Support to the CMC Investment Portfolio.
Optimizing and developing project controls processes by providing valid input and acting as a sparring partner to the Lead Project Controller.
There are two positions. One dedicated for the “WARP speed project” and one that will have a broader area of responsibilities with more projects in the portfolio. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: Relevant business education (e.g. Cand. Merc., Cand. Oecon or similar).
+5 years of large-scale, multi-discipline project controlling experience within engineering and construction organisations.
Understanding of critical issues and internal mechanisms in the major disciplines working in large investment projects.
Communication skills in English, both written and oral.
Strong financial skills and proficiency in SAP and MS Excel skills.
A curious mindset and a willingness to learn and develop your skill set throughout your employment.

The department CMC Investments manages the project portfolio investments in CMC Development and Scaling. We are a team of 10 colleagues and are based in Bagsværd Denmark. Responsibilities of the department includes project management, leading strategy discussions and decision-making processes to effectively lead internal partners, capex portfolio management for CMC Development and Scaling and project controlling.
