Novo Nordisk has a unique collection of significant historical value consisting of ar-chival documents and artefacts dating hundred years back to the creation of the two original companies that later merged to become the company we know today. Novo Nordisk also holds a comprehensive collection of modern and contemporary art, which is an integrated part of our innovative company culture.
As a Corporate Archivist your key responsibilities will be: Archivist for Novo Nordisk History Collection Digital archival strategy and archiving of digital material Respond to internal and external requests about Novo Nordisk history Administrative support to the Novo Nordisk History & Art Collection with e.g. support to planning and hosting of events in the History & Art Exhibition Space Qualifications
In the position you will use your natural flair for service to support both the Corporate Historian and the Corporate Art Historian. The ideal candidate: Is a librarian, cand.scient.bibl. or having a master’s degree in history or similar supplemented with 3-5 years’ experience in collection management (of both physical and digital archive material), registration and related archival tasks Has documented hands-on experience with corporate history from a similar po-sition, including experience with registrations systems such as The Museum System (TMS) and Arkibas Has flair for IT and familiarity with digital preservation and technologies Works in a very structured way with strong diligence and accuracy Is proficient in Danish and English both written and spoken Can work independently as well as collaboratively and thrives in a more sup-portive back-office role About the department
Novo Nordisk’s History & Art Collection is part of the department Reputation & Corpo-rate Brand in Global Communication. You closest colleagues will be a specialized team consisting of a Corporate Historian and a Corporate Art Historian as well as associated consultants.
In the second half of 2024, the history and art collection will move to new premises in Bagsværd with state-of-the-art archives and a History & Art Exhibition Space. Working at Novo Nordisk
