The position As the Environmental Management System Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our environmental management practices are robust, compliant, and forward-thinking. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the revitalisation of the EMS according to ISO14001 and preparing decision papers to support system development
Following, updating, and communicating EMS requirements to internal stakeholders
Making the EMS easy to overview and access for users, considering future platforms and user needs
Developing, updating, and implementing environmental procedures and tools, ensuring they cover business needs and link to other systems and strategies
Facilitating workshops, drafting solutions for environmental initiatives, providing roadmaps for implementation, and creating communication plans
Coordinating with the audit team on internal and external audits and facilitating dialogue with the environmental process group/network
Qualifications We are looking for a candidate who can fulfill most of the following requirements for this position: A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science or a related field
At least 5 years of experience within environmental management systems
Knowledge of environmental legislation
Experience with ISO14001 standards
A structured and organised approach to work
Excellent communication skills and a curious, proactive mindset with the ability to develop and deliver EHS training programmes
