The position
As a Manager in DCM QA, you will lead, coach, and develop a team of highly dedicated and competent employees. The area of responsibility is within the internal device component production covering several different technologies e.g. advanced plastic injection moulding and assembly lines with the highest level of automation. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the entire device value chain to ensure delivery of product with the highest quality to our patients. The role requires participation in audits and inspections, and you will ensure optimization of our quality processes and systems with a clear focus on GXP compliance, LEAN and understanding strategic business. Equally important, we have a high focus on safeguarding a healthy work-life balance. Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced colleague with a strong background within QA or the medical device area. You are bold and know how to balance quality demands, authority expectations, and business needs, other than having an interest and talent for implementing strategy.
In addition, you:Hold a master’s degree within life sciences, engineering or similar Have several years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry, preferably in QA related roles Have performed people management tasks, whether formally or informally Have a strong and respectful way of communicating and excel in giving/receiving feedback Are fully proficient in both English and Danish On a personal level, you have a curious, innovative, and solution-oriented approach to overcoming challenges; you engage in critical cases, set direction for projects where you safeguard the product quality and patient perspective.
You are a role model for the team and have a talent for empowerment and development of people, creating good relations with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure that we succeed together.
Finally, you work independently and proactively and know how to meet deadlines. About the department
You will join a highly dynamic and well-functioning department in DCM QA with many interfaces and stakeholders around the organization. The department consists of two teams who are both supporting the production of device components (moulding and pre-assembly), QC, metrology and are engaged in projects.
