Can you build and run a new setup for fully outsourced clinical trials?
If your experience covers full outsourcing of clinical trials and you are looking for an opportunity to utilise all of your knowledge and build a setup the way you know to be best, this job is your chance. At LEO Pharma we are aiming to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner, and we have a historically exciting pipeline as well as a great variety of exciting initiatives going on. That is why we now want to ad yet another way of working with clinical trials, and that is where you enter the scene with all of your experience, good ideas and drive for results.
Driver and guiding light from overall scoping to daily execution
Your job is to build the new operating model for fully outsourced clinical trials (Phase ll-lV) in LEO and afterwards project manage trials conducted by CROs worldwide. You will be based at the LEO Pharma HQ in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen together with specialists within clinical trials and outsourcing, and you can look forward to major influence and impact. As such, you will also be first point of contact between CROs and Global Clinical Operations. You will:
Build the new operating model including establishing of the right KPI’s and sponsor oversight strategy Project manage fully outsourced clinical trials Oversee all aspects of the start-up, conduct, close-out and reporting performed by CROs Drive timelines and deliverables at the CROs including fiscal oversight Manage issues and risks for individual trials and projects – and escalate when necessary Build and maintain tracking and reporting tools
To succeed, you must be able to make your agenda acknowledged and prioritised in a complex international setting with multiple goals and projects. This calls for your ability to build constructive relations to a great number of people across functions and locations with due respect to professional and cultural differences. As part of this you can look forward to travel 20-30 days per year to meet partners and colleagues worldwide.
Experience from working in a fully outsourced clinical trial setup
We are looking for an experienced profile that thrives in a role as “guiding light”. As our expert within fully outsourced clinical trials you must be good at working independently and at the same time know when to reach out. Your good communication skills enable you to explain “what, why, how, who and when” in a way that makes sense to people without your profound knowledge. Additionally, you will need all of you overview and planning skills in order to handle multiple parallel deadlines and tasks – and have the energy level it takes to build something new. Added to this your CV comprises:
Extensive experience from working in a fully outsourced clinical trial setup Solid project management experience A university degree in natural science 5+ years experience from working with clinical trials in an international setting Solid knowledge of the drug development process
