The job
The role is located in our DevOps Services department, which is part of the Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) department in Global IT. As Release Manager your overall objective is to provide efficient, scalable and flexible Release- and Change Management on the Veeva Vault platform liaising with internal Global IT departments, line of business and vendors related to operational tasks and projects. You will own and improve platform release processes and procedures, and act as an advisor to operations and project stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and fast and efficient releases that meet business priorities and requirements.
Your primary tasks will involve;
Ownership of the Release lifecycle, which includes scheduling coordination and management of internal and vendor releases with key stakeholders from line of business and vendors across the Veeva Vault platform Ensuring efficient, scalable and compliant release and change management processes and procedures Build KPI’s to measure and monitor progress to ensure releases are delivered timely and to the right quality Facilitate the dialog and forecasting on required resources from line of business, Global IT and vendors to implement prioritized and approved changes Providing subject matter expertise on Release- and Change Management to projects and relevant stakeholders from line of business and Global IT
Your qualifications
Significant experience (7+ years) with Release- and Change Management processes in a GxP environment (preferably within Pharma) Experience with release- and change management related to SaaS solutions and agile methodologies (DevOps, SAFe, Scrum) Proven ability to scale efforts to the challenges at hand still balancing business and operational objectives as well as being attentive to compliance and quality requirements applicable to Release- and Change Management processes Ability to follow, adopt, recommend, develop and promote standards and policies Ability to work systematically and if necessary develop new systems, to support work
